Unico says training is essential for The Unico System small-duct HVAC. The company says a reliable product can still perform poorly if installed by an untrained contractor.
Unico works with modular home manufacturers to create system designs for their models. It trains factory personnel to pre-install components in panels during production. It also trains subcontractors on final hook-up and commissioning onsite.
Unico describes this as a “stem to stern” process customized and scalable to a manufacturer’s or builder’s needs.
Unico University is the company’s online training platform. It contains a library of on-demand training videos across multiple topics. Unico says it is updated continually with new content.
Through the American Institute of Architects, Unico offers CE credits for the design of small-duct systems. The courses are AIA Continuing Education System-approved and focus on small-duct high-velocity HVAC solutions.
