LOS ANGELES, CA (September 11, 2025) - The Environmental Media Association (EMA) is thrilled to announce the nominated television and film productions for the 2025 EMA Awards Gala. This year’s celebration turns up the star power as Love Island USA host, acclaimed stage and screen actress, and New York Times best-selling author Ariana Madix takes the spotlight as host of the Awards. Joining her as co-host is breakout Netflix sensation Harry Jowsey, star of the highly anticipated Let’s Marry Harry and host of the hit podcast Boyfriend Material. Taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles, the ceremony unites environmental leaders and changemakers in entertainment to honor sustainable achievements across the lens and beyond the script.

“Hosting the EMA Awards and bringing awareness to projects that are quite literally saving the planet is truly an honor,” said Ariana Madix. “I’m excited to be part of an evening that lets sustainability shine and have a great time in the process!”

“It’s really special to be celebrating such an important cause at the EMA Awards this year,” said Harry Jowsey. “I feel honored to be included in this special night, to share some laughs along the way, and to learn from the incredible projects being recognized.”

The star-studded event will bring together a dynamic mix of familiar long-standing EMA supporters and first-time talent. Actress and EMA Board Member Malin Åkerman, star of Netflix’s runaway hit series Hunting Wives, will attend alongside her co-stars. Joining her are fellow EMA Board Members Madelaine Petsch, Wendie Malick, Brie Garcia with sister Nikki Garcia, and Emmanuelle Chriqui, in addition to a dazzling lineup of top talent, including Kathy Griffin, Selma Blair, Jenna Dewan, and Caylee Cowan, the EMA Young Hollywood Board Chair.  Adding to the excitement, EMA’s Executive Board Co-Chair, Lance Bass will serve as the gala’s first celebrity executive producer – furthering his commitment with the organization that began in 2009.

“The Environmental Media Association has been such a meaningful part of my journey for years, inspiring me to use my voice and platform to champion sustainability and drive real change,” said Lance Bass. “To see the legacy of EMA continue to grow, mobilizing artists, innovators, and communities around the planet, is incredibly powerful. I’m looking forward to stepping into the role of Executive Producer for this year’s EMA Awards, where we’ll not only celebrate the trailblazers making an impact but also create a show that entertains, informs, and ignites action for a greener future.”

The EMA Awards Gala celebrates trailblazers in TV and film who are driving sustainable change and spotlighting stories that inspire climate action and environmental justice. Staying true to tradition, the ceremony returns to a working studio lot for the second consecutive year at Radford Studio Center – a world-class facility operated by The MBS Group and home to some of the industry’s most beloved films and shows.

“The EMA Awards Gala is an annual celebration of storytellers and innovators who are using their platforms with purpose,” said EMA CEO Debbie Levin. “Each year, we honor the ingenuity and dedication that prove entertainment can inspire meaningful change, with on-screen stories that resonate with audiences and break through to spark real-world impact. As the market makers that amplify industries who have brought sustainable practices to consumers through authentic storytelling and education, we are so grateful to have been at the forefront of social change for a sustainable future.”
