The Climate Action Museum invites people to the 1st Earth Day Fun-Raiser & Dance on April 22, 2023.

The event is described as a “Chicago Style” evening to raise funds for the Museum.

About the Climate Action Museum

The Climate Action Museum is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization in greater Chicago.

Its mission is to activate a tipping point on climate mitigation in the Chicago region through education, critical thought, and direct action.

The project was launched by a core group of sustainability leaders as a five-year effort to move away from fossil fuels.

Exhibit and location

• Core asset: a 2,100 sq. ft. immersive exhibit.
• Location: a vacant tenant space in the lobby of 300 S. Riverside Plaza.
• Soft-opening date: June 1, 2023.
• Claimed global rank: it will be the seventh climate museum globally.

Business plan

• No admission fees.
• Primary support from sponsorships and underwriting.
• A location that requires little or no staffing.
• Guest experience supported by trained volunteer docents.
