Brook Hartnett and Allegiance Personal Training

Brook Hartnett is the CEO of Allegiance Personal Training (APT). He launched APT to help people over 40 reach their fitness goals. He was inspired by his work with his mother.

APT is a family-owned fitness business in East Hampton, NY. It began during the pandemic and offers both in-person and online programs. Brook works with Dr. Katherine Mitchell, a social worker and health coach, and his brother, Denis.

APT uses a holistic approach. It combines exercise, nutrition, and community support.

How APT Works

Brook’s typical workout setup includes a mat, two bands, free weights, and a box for step-ups. Online clients need only a box if they already have the other basics.

Brook Hartnett’s Background

Brook began fitness as a teenager through sports. He continued in college and during his time in the Navy. After returning to Long Island’s East End, he worked as a professional personal trainer in one-on-one sessions and group classes.

He found that personalized training produced the best results. That led him to create a more affordable hybrid model that keeps some of the benefits of individual coaching.
