Shelter Youth & Family Services held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 15, 2025, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
The home is Illinois’ one-of-a-kind DCFS-licensed residence for female youth survivors ages 12 to 18 of commercial sexual exploitation.
The home is intended to provide safety, healing, independence, and long-term stability for youth exiting commercial sex trafficking.
